Jefferson Elementary Science Night

@ Jefferson Elementary School

  • You will help run science experiments, set up, and clean up.

  • Experiments include looking at microscopic specimens, building electrical circuits, a small chemistry experiment, and an engineering challenge.

  • Help run concessions and support the Senior Class. 

  • Run the register, make food, or make drinks!

  • Counts as volunteer hours.

Community Thrift Donation Trailer

  • Help with Senior Class Party's Community Donation Trailer by monitoring the items donated.

Falcon Jamboree

Friday, March 27th

3:00 PM - 8:30 PM

@ Hanford High School

  • You will help proctor or score for the math competition!

  • Proctoring: reading out instructions, handing out tests, answering questions, and timing.

  • Scoring: scoring tests.

  • There will be training day of.

Autism Journey Childcare

Saturday, April 25th

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

  • You will be supervising and playing with the children there.

  • Toys, activities, etc. are all provided.

  • The event itself is to kick off Autism Awareness Month through a free community event featuring a half mile walk, educational talks, and opportunities for connection.

Science Club at Lewis & Clark Elementary

Ongoing, Fridays 2:15 PM - 3:30 PM

@ Lewis & Clark Elementary

  • Work with 4th graders to teach them fun, hands-on science activities.

  • It's low pressure, just explore science with the kids.

Falcon Flight Crew Peer Tutoring

Ongoing, Wednesdays after school

@ Hanford, Ms. Maldonado's Room 1203

  • Help with peer tutoring for other students in various subjects, study skills, etc.

  • In partnership with NHS.
